Presenting a brand-new HO scale production run of the iconic Southern Pacific GS-4—this time with a twist: de-skirted versions! So, what does de-skirted mean? On this version of the GS-4, it refers to the removal of the streamlined side skirting along the boiler. The Southern Pacific made this modification sometime before 1956 to improve maintenance access for crews. Around this time, many GS-4s were reassigned to San Jose–San Francisco Peninsula commute service, freight duties, and occasional appearances on the San Joaquin Daylight. This run features new tooling to accurately represent the de-skirted GS-4s, along with several new paint scheme variations, including the aluminum-painted pilot trim and two all-new fantasy schemes. For those modeling the Southern Pacific during the transition from steam to diesel, these locomotives are a perfect fit—both historically and visually. And for fans of the legendary #4449, we’re also bringing back a few popular versions of this famous locomotive, which still runs today thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Oregon Rail Heritage Center and the Friends of SP 4449.

From 1974, this long out-of-print and widely sought book has been digitized into Adobe PDF form, with bookmarking, into CD form. The book is based on 19 passenger train consist books issued between 1946 and 1971 by the Santa Fe for the use of its officials.
It tells what cars would have made up the standard company passenger trains at any given point and date on the railroad. It shows where cars would have been dropped and where picked up along their journey.
When the book was originally published, some of the floor plans did not reproduce well. In digitizing this book an attempt has been made to make the diagrams more clear. An index of photographs and drawings has been added to this publication.

Engineered for clean, dependable staging, the Estes A10-0T is a 13 mm booster engine made to work with compatible mini engines. With a total impulse of 2.50 N-sec and a short, snappy 0.80 second burn, this booster gives lightweight rockets a confident push off the pad while keeping flight behavior predictable and repeatable. Its compact size and low mass make it ideal for small two stage rockets and projects where precise, gentle staging matters.
What makes the A10-0T stand out is consistency. These motors are manufactured to tight tolerances so each flight feels familiar, which helps you learn faster and tune builds with confidence. The thrust profile gives a quick, reliable boost that separates stages cleanly without overstressing small airframes. That predictable performance also makes the A10-0T a great choice for hobbyists who like experimenting with staged designs and for families who want exciting flights without complicated setups.
Each package contains four A10-0T booster engines plus four starters and four reusable starter plugs so you have everything needed to get back to flying quickly. The compact 13 mm diameter and low weight let you use the A10-0T in a wide range of mini staged kits and custom builds. Whether you are refining a competition design or teaching kids the basics of staging, these engines give you a simple, ready to fly option.
Ready to add clean, reliable staging to your flights? Grab a pack of Estes A10-0T boosters and pair them with compatible 13 mm mini engines for spirited two stage flights. Always follow the included safety and launching instructions and fly at a certified launch site or with a club when possible.
