We're committed to providing convenient and reliable shipping options for our customers. Arizona Hobbies gives its customers a choice on shipping carriers. We offer inexpensive USPS Media Mail for books and other media; USPS Ground Advantage and Priority Mail are available for non-media items and for expedited shipping. Arizona Hobbies also offers UPS Ground and Ground Saver if the customer does not wish to use the US postal service.
A customer can add their items to the shopping cart and see the available shipping choices and cost without having to provide any personal or payment information.
Shipping methods and timeframes
We offer shipping within the United States using reputable carriers. Over the years Arizona Hobbies has experienced excellent package handling by USPS. Even with Media Mail, only 1 or 2 packages at the most have been lost out of 3,000+ annually shipped. The estimated delivery time for Media Mail is 1-9 business days, depending on the destination. Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories will require more time. Expedited shipping via USPS Ground Advantage and Priority Mail are available for an additional fee.
UPS Ground Saver uses the UPS network to the nearest USPS local service center and final delivery is provided by the US Postal Service.
Order processing
Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Please note that large volume orders may require additional processing time due to their size and complexity.
Arizona Hobbies receives many compliments on the packaging of the shipments we send out. Expect your items to be sent in new, excellent condition and received that way.
Shipping rates
Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight, volume and destination of the order. The shipping cost will be displayed during the checkout process. Arizona Hobbies provides the customer with discounted commercial rates, not retail shipping rates. Teh rate usually includes an additional $2.00 for the cost of the box and packing materials.
Tracking information
Once your order is shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your shipment and estimate the delivery date. The customer can also create an account on Arizona Hobbies and login to their account and see orders and tracking information.
International shipping
We also offer international shipping to select countries. Shipping rates for international orders will be calculated at checkout based on the destination and total weight of your order. If you are not offered rates to your country, contact Arizona Hobbies with your information.
Arizona Hobbies uses GlobalPost for international orders. GlobalPost offers rates less than USPS international rates with transit times just as fast or faster. GlobalPost negotiates with various carriers for final delivery. This may include the local postal service or a private carrier.
Here are the estimated shipping times for international orders:
- GlobalPost Shipping: 7-14 business days
- Priority International Shipping: 3-5 business days
