"The True-Color paint is fantastic. Painting has always been a challenge for me but the Tru-Color paint gives me a great finish. This build is all Tru-Color including the primer. I did use Tru-Color thinner and retarder along with Grabber Blue, Artic White, Black for the frame and Armour Yellow is a great match for Cat yellow engine paint."

John Nicholson is a custom painter who uses Tru-Color Paint for his business. John uses Rust-oleum Professional Grade Lacquer Thinner from their Auto Paint product line to thin the paint for spraying multiple light coats. He uses a mix of 55/45% paint to thinner and then a hair dryer is used to help set/dry the paint. I would still recommend storing Tru-Color Paint with Tru-Color's own thinner as the soft plastic bottles do loose media (thinner) over time.

For this car John used Tru-Color's Southern Pacific Lark Light Gray and Lark Dark Gray. He uses a good-old Paasche Model H airbrush. Iwata need not apply. The model H is easy to work with and clean. Air pressure is set at 25 PSI. When a brass model is completely painted he will place the model in the oven with a setting of 150 degrees and leave it in there for about half an hour.

Track Tack It is the easiest and cleanest way to ballast your HO, N, O, or S scale model railroad tracks. Simply mix 2 parts ballast with 1 part Track Tack It, ballast your rails, and soak/mist the laid ballast with water! It will become tacky right away and will be "rock hard" the next day! No more need for messy concoctions of white glue, water, soap, and alcohol to get your glue to spread, or having to remove glue from the rails. This is a 4.5 box for large projects.
