NCE DCC

The NCE 524-149 No Halt Medium is a DCC keep-alive module that stores enough energy to carry your locomotive through dirty track sections, dead frogs, and brief power gaps — eliminating stalls, sound dropouts, and light flicker caused by imperfect electrical contact. Sized for medium HO locomotives, it wires into the decoder's keep-alive input and works silently in the background: when track power blinks, the module takes over and the locomotive keeps moving. A must-have upgrade for reliable operation on complex or older layouts.

Arizona Hobbies is an authorized NCE dealer in Tucson, AZ, and stocks the full range of NCE keep-alive modules.

• Keep-Alive Power Storage — bridges power interruptions from dirty track, insulated frogs, and switch gaps
• Eliminates Stalling — locomotive keeps moving through dead spots that would stop a standard decoder
• Eliminates Sound & Light Dropouts — sound decoders and lighting stay on through interruptions
• Medium Size — appropriate for medium HO scale locomotives with adequate interior space
• Encapsulated Design — protected, compact module wires to decoder's keep-alive leads
• Universal Compatibility — works with NCE and other DCC decoders that have keep-alive inputs
