Mayhem

The Mayhem™ is Estes’ latest advanced rocket kit built for rocketeers who want more from their launch day. With the capability to soar up to 2,100 feet, this sleek, two-stage model delivers a thrilling, high-flying experience from lift-off to recovery.

Whether you’re chasing altitude records or fine-tuning your staging technique, Mayhem™ offers a powerful, precision-based platform for serious flight performance.

Two-Stage Versatility

Fly Mayhem™ as a single-stage rocket or engage the booster stage for extended altitude and excitement. The booster uses tumble recovery to safely return to Earth, while the upper stage deploys a parachute for a smooth descent.

This flexible setup allows rocketeers to adapt each launch to their flying field and engine preference using D12 and E12 combinations.

Built for Advanced Modelers

With its Advanced skill level, the Mayhem™ is designed for experienced builders who enjoy a hands-on challenge and precision assembly. Standing 33.6 inches tall with a 1.64-inch body diameter, it’s engineered for aerodynamic efficiency and consistent flight.

The durable construction supports repeat launches and precise staging—ideal for hobbyists pushing their rocketry skills further.

Payload-Ready and Field-Tested

A clear payload section is included for carrying light experiments, altimeters, or custom cargo. This makes Mayhem™ a great option for educational flights or personal payload tests.

Combine performance with purpose and customize each mission to suit your rocketry goals.
