Conrail Shared Assets Operations In Color

This title starts out with a selection of photographs of the predecessor lines of Conrail. Afterwards a number of photographs of pool power along with Conrail blue units are presented. Connecting short lines with their interesting paint schemes with many of them based on fallen flag railroad paint schemes. About 25% of the photographs include Conrail blue power. There are many photographs of bridges including quite a few drawbridges.

Conrail Shared Assets Operations (CSAO) is the neutral terminal railroad started in June 1999 to handle the terminal operations for owners' CSX and Norfolk Southern in North Jersey, South Jersey/Philadelphia, and Detroit. This Color book unravels the complex operation in more than 250 photographs.
