The Reading & Northern is one of the larger regional railroads of the United States. Unlike seasonal tourist railroads, this primarily freight-hauler also operates steam locomotive pulled excursions nearly the whole year.
Pacific-type locomotive No. 425, a locomotive originally built for the Gulf, Mobile & Northern and 0-6-0 switch engine, a former Central Railroad of New Jersey locomotive, provide the power for the excursions.
This video presents both locomotives pulling excursions through all seasons in a variety of locations.
