X Car Color Guide Volume 1: AACX-CRYX

More than 300 Color photographs of privately-owned freight cars (X-cars) are examined in this first of a series. Reporting marks AACX to CRYX make up this Volume.

Most of the cars in this book are covered hoppers of various sizes. There are also some boxcars, flatcars, depressed-center flatcars, hole-in-the well cars, Schnabel cars, private cabooses, wing cars (Lockheed Tri-Star), and two pictures of high-cube stock cars (Cross Brothers Meat Packers, 89-ft.).
