C11-7 Engines

The Estes C11-7 engine is a powerful 24 mm single-stage engine built for reliable mid-power model rocket flights. With a total impulse of 10.00 N-sec and a maximum thrust of 22.10 newtons, this engine is well-suited for rockets weighing less than 4 ounces. Its longer 7-second delay provides ample coast time, making it a solid choice for streamlined rockets where altitude and tracking visibility are key. Whether you're flying for altitude, duration, or precise deployment, the C11-7 provides consistent and dependable performance.

Designed to bridge the gap between standard and higher-thrust engines, the C11-7 offers a unique combination of power and control. The 0.80-second thrust duration delivers a strong, quick boost to clear the launch rod, while the extended coast phase allows parachute deployment at higher altitudes. This engine works especially well in lightweight rockets needing that extra push without stepping up to a D engine.

Each package includes two engines, two starters, and four starter plugs—everything you need to prep and launch with confidence. As part of the Estes 24 mm engine family, the C11-7 is compatible with many mid-sized kits and is a great upgrade for flyers looking to try something more energetic than a C6-5 or B6-4.

Whether you're a seasoned rocketeer or an advancing flyer experimenting with new performance profiles, the C11-7 engine offers a dependable step up. It’s a standout engine for achieving higher altitudes, longer coasts, and better timing on ejection for rockets in the under-4-ounce range.
