The ALC-412 Hot Metal Yellow Lacquer from Alclad II delivers a vivid, heat-distorted yellow finish that captures the look of scorched and oxidized metal on aircraft exhaust, engine parts, and armored vehicles. This 1 oz. bottle is airbrush-ready and formulated to apply over a primed or black-basecoated surface.
The Hot Metal series is ideal for modelers adding realistic heat discoloration effects to jet pipes, mufflers, turbochargers, and metal fittings. Apply over Alclad II black primer or gloss black enamel base for best results. Compatible with polystyrene, resin, and photo-etch.
Tip: Layer Hot Metal Yellow over Hot Metal Red or Blue for a natural heat-gradient effect on exhaust parts.
