Car number 446 features the distinctive aluminum window frames installed during PRR's postwar modernization program, along with Keystone lettering in classic Tuscan Red — capturing these cars in their updated, late-era appearance on the Northeast Corridor.

The MUmP54 fleet was built for the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1910 through the 1930s and formed the backbone of PRR's electrified commuter service around Philadelphia and New York. In the postwar years, many cars received upgraded aluminum window sashes that gave them a distinctly modern look compared to the original steel-framed cars. Paint schemes are authenticated per PRR Historical Society reference materials. Many of these cars survived through the Penn Central and SEPTA eras into the early 1970s.

This is the non-powered trailer version, designed to run with powered MUmP54 units. The model includes working brass pantographs accurate to the prototype, with a sliding switch on the interior PCB that allows the pantographs to pick up catenary power when wired for overhead operation. The rarely modeled grounding switch on the roof beside the pantograph is also faithfully reproduced.
