Bring authentic Pennsylvania Railroad electric commuter operations to your HO scale layout with this highly detailed MUmP54 Baggage-Mail Car by Con-Cor International. Road number 5416 is lettered in the classic PRR Keystone scheme in Tuscan Red, representing the non-passenger cars that supported PRR’s flagship Northeast Corridor electric commuter service.
The MUmP54 fleet — built for the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1910 through the 1930s — was the backbone of PRR’s electrified commuter network around Philadelphia and New York. Many of these cars survived through the Penn Central and SEPTA eras into the early 1970s. This Baggage-Mail car carried mail and express freight alongside the passenger coaches, making it an essential part of any prototypical PRR consist. Paint schemes are authenticated per PRR Historical Society reference materials.
This is the non-powered trailer version, designed to run with powered MUmP54 units.
